Why don't you give us some information about it so we can answer your question?
Here is something to look at so you can decide if you want it:

Its ok I guess. Not really a hardware knock out with its plastic like body and pentile screen. Hardware design too is an acquired taste.
Not sure why they needed a conference to announce this to be honest. Could have just put it on the floor with MWC next to other smartphones.
After seeing this, HTC one X is still my choice for the best Android phone money can buy.
If I hadn't purchased the Samsung Galaxy II 4G a few months back I would have said yes but as it is I'll be happy with the one I have (Now with ICS on it) for the forseeable future. I love the G II 4G by the way. :)

I have the exact same feelings about this. Was expecting something more groundbreaking design wise and feature wise (mostly design wise). I'm particularly upset about the pentile screen though...
The conference was justified imo. This reveal was one of the most eargerly anticipated reveals in quite a while, and based on the popularirty of the GS2, creating an exclusive event just further creates that feeling of exclusiveness (better than the rest if you will). Much better than being lost in sea of other smartphones on display at MWC.
A build up and event like this is also, in general, a good marketing ploy.
Interesting. My contract is up in a few days, time to start researching. Galaxy SII is what I always hear about, does anybody know other top androids that are potentially better?

HTC One X/S, Sony Xperia S, Galaxy Nexus. There are many to choose from. Don't get the S II, however.

Pentile at 720p isn't very noticeable. That's just a nitpick buzzword these days.

The GNex is worse than the S2. The SoC is crappy.
