For most folks, the promise of dinosaur blasting with a healthy dose of jetpacks would be enough of a selling point for a video game, but Spiral Game Studios clearly aren’t resting on their laurels. With just four days to go until its beautifully mayhem-laden prehistoric hootenanny, ORION: Dinosaur Beatdown, has now been made the subject of two brand new in-depth gameplay trailers.
First of all, Spiral Game Studios has outlined how the player classes and in-game gear will function, providing players with a thorough insight into the complex underlying tactical implications of one’s chosen loadout.
The second trailer deals with the vast, expansive worlds we can expect to see when the game releases, along with the pièce-de-résistance – the dinos themselves.
As a particularly smashing bonus, Spiral Game Studios are also offering 100 digital copies of the game to lucky winners of its competition, entitled ‘The Early Bird Gets The Worm’. In order to be in with a chance of getting a share of the spoils, players will have to carry out the following five steps:
1. ‘Like’ Spiral Game Studios on Facebook
2. Follow Spiral Game Studios on Twitter
3. Tell the developers about your favourite in-game player class
4. Let the developers know which in-game dinosaur most takes your fancy
5. Suggest a dinosaur for Spiral Game Studios to add into the game
Responses to Steps 3-5 must be sent to the developers via e-mail. As the title of the competition suggests, the first 100 players to complete each step satisfactorily will earn a free copy of the game when it releases on Friday 4th May.
