So they must fix our mistake?

We have to let them handle it on their own yes, it was our mistake, but like that urkel character, the more we do stuff the worse it gets, our prescense acts as a lightining rod to attract more support for them

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

The Bible is the word of god and law?

it teaches important morals we all should have, but it also gives us intolerant views. (e.g. intolerance to gays, inferiority of women)

I was raised Catholic, but i have chosen to become agnostic, so i do know quite a bit about the Bible.

God killed millions in the Bible because they simply defied him. Isn't killing a sin? Then what makes God have the right to kill millions? I noticed this as a child, but didn't think much about it then.

I find it quite ironic that for christianity to stay popular all these years, it has had to evolve. yet, half of christians dismiss evolution.
I also find it ironic that God seems to be quite a dictator, sending those who didn't believe in him when they had the chance, to hell

66% of the world is NOT Christian. what makes the 33% that are christian, right about what happens to people after they die?

i know that this might be offensive, so sorry beforehand.

Them's that got shall get, them's that not shall lose.
So the Bible says and it still is true.
Papa may have, momma may have, but god bless the child that's got his own.

Urkel always fixes his mistakes in the end.

Yeah but the writers are on strike, so no mistake fixing

That's weird. I haven't seen that in the bible anywhere. I think that's your interpretation of it. Just like your interpretation when life starts. I've heard others that have said those that don't choose christ go to hell no mater what.

The Catholics for a long time suggested they went to purgatory.

Truth is, you don't know anything about it, you don't know what god does outside of what you assume he does. You don't know when life starts, and your argueing from nothing but hopes and guesses.

I doubt you have read the bible because if you did you would know I am right. Go look it up. I said those unable to choose go to heaven. Those who choose not to choose got to hell. The Bible is the word of god and is Law. It is up for interpretations but there are parts in it that are clear.

It does come down to personaly opinion but mine is just as valid as yours. Believe it or not I am for Rape 1st term abbortion. I would even be for 1st term Abbortion period if I did not think it would become a form of borth pretoection. I think the life starts when that baby can think.

Really?  Because i am infact a christian and have given no opinion on abortion in this thread, simply given you hypoteticals.

One more hypotetical though.

One who grows up in a poor condition and many never regret a crime they comit.  I'd guess most people do however regret having an abortion and foolishly getting into that situation that led to it.  I'd say you were foolish though if you thought nearly anyone was using abortion as a form of birth control.  Those who were have likely other problems then worrying about being damned for that.

The better answer would of course be sex education and making birth control more available, though oddly most people against abortion are also the same people against measures that would lower aboritions.

Me, i don't particularly have an answer on abortion.  Clearly aboritions wouldn't be anywhere needed enough if we educated said people.

Making it illegal wouldn't really lower anything, they'd just go underground and more people would die.  Well that and the backlash against the conservative party would be so great they wouldn't be elected except in the deepest red states for a decade or more.

You could make it for only special circumstances (like rape), of course, then everyone could just accuse someone of raping them whenever they wanted an abortion.  Which also likely would be the case.

You could make it ungodly expensive, though that would just make it hard on the poor.

There really is no answer that will work for what you want.

Outside of educating people.  Which takes a long time.

Ever hear the old saying "Nobody hits my younger brother but me"?

I do not try to understand God just follow as he has asked. If I am wrong in the end so what. If those who dont believe are wrong there screwed. I rather be safe than sorry. I have also had what I feel is a personal experience with god that I cant explain.

Me too.  That still puts us back at even at what we both think God wants.

This delagate count thread turned into a abortion thread so I will give you my plan.

Abortion should 1st be outlawed for 3rd and 2nd trimester. 2nd trimester will only be allowed in case of Rape. Calling for rape charge would be made serious because if you call for that you will be sending somone to jail.

The baby begins to think i believe during the 2nd trimester so I think it is very good arguement we can decide life starts there. That is also about 50/50 between religous conservative who say it starts from day one and far left liberals who say it start on birth.

I would allow 1st term abortion, once to any person. It will kind of be like a second chance. except in terms of rape.

Yeah, cause rapists get caught 100% of the time, and the increase in fake rapes won't at all hurt the chance of catching real rapists.

What if someone just says "I was raped by a guy with a mask on."

I'll say what i saw in all of these threads though.

Go Mccain.
