Forums - Gaming - EA shows off what could be the future of mobile gaming! (Video fixed, check it out)

So we all saw the Google Glass video showing much anticipated project glass. Google's new augmented reality glasses that could soon replace the Smart Phone even challenge other devices. Now I'm doubtful the glasses would have the processing power to do this but EA had a video made to show just what they could do with this technology. I thought instantly about Project Class's potential as a video game playing platform and it appears so did EA. Check out their mock up video that shows how we could be playing.g Battlefield 5 on Google Glass in a few years. It looks bad ass!

I am using my phone and don't know how to embed with JavaScript turned off. May someone do me the honour of embedding the video so other users can view this on VGChartz!

The concept looks very cool

But I can't find anywhere how this would actually provide a full view hud

Pfft, call me when everything is thought controlled.

*this post was brought to you by lightspeed briefs, for the discriminating crotch*

it's cool and all but... meh

To think that people were made fun of for having four eyes back in my day...

It looks neat for everyday use, but I don't know about gaming. I'm already skeptical about having only touch and gyro controls for mobile gaming, and this strikes me as less input than those.

Nope. His link is faulty.

I'm not even going to watch the video right now. Something like this won't be released to consumers in years, and it wont' be standard for decades. Call me when Sony, MS or Nintendo get interested in the tech.

Sorry, I just can't take the pandering.

Does that work? This is not the Google Glasses video it is a BattleField 5 mock up by EA. They posted it on their Facebook profile and its on YouTube. You need to watch it. Can you put it in your post as I can't embed it seems nobody saw the video I was linking too and that's what the thread is entirely about!
