That new pirate game is alright for a free to play game. In addition, I'm sure they are making money off of selling virtual items, such as clothes, houses, furniture, and comsumable items such as the tickets for the carnival games and casino chips.

They should add trophy support to the mini games, that would keep me coming back.

I was using it for a while for the instant streaming game videos in the theater instead of having to download them first. But the long load times and constant updates of the app made that pretty pointless :/
Walking around all the game spaces, playing a couple of mini games wasn't bad either, but long load times killed the experience. I haven't started it up in over a year, nor do I ever see anyone on my friend list in home anymore.

most games don't even care about PSN Home and who really wants to have their character or avatar dancing,
guess they want to create a Sims like world, to create a profitable market in the PSN Home environment.
and the updates are not exciting at all, that's for sure.
Its better for Sony to keep on giving out free games instead.

Some people say home is really good, now. It's supposed to have all sorts of games and stuff now, too. I tried it last year sometime and I still wasn't impressed. I only went to a couple of areas, though. I guess it's good for people that want to put a (fake) face on the faceless people they socialize with online--I'm a muscular black guy but my avatar was a hot white female. You wouldn't believe how popular she was!--but for me, if I'm on my PS3, I'm spending my time playing a real game.
