Yeah I usually play it cool and try not to fall into "hype" land or at least not show it on the internet. I like to be a level headed member of the forums.

That being said I have fully fallen into CANT FREAKING WAIT TO PLAY THIS MUTHA F-ING GAME mode with Halo 4. From the graphics, to the music, to the new location, the return of Master Chief and Cortana, and the AWESOME new additions to multiplayer its honestly too mutch for me to resist lol.

Damn dude, in my haste to post, I missed this. The soundtrack sampling one was beautiful. 

The more I'm seeing and hearing of Halo 4, I'm getting this sense that 343 is just "cooler" than Bungie. I mean no knock on Bungie because they have been great but these little things are standing out to me. Like when O'Connor said that the Grunts won't be squeeking as much and that Halo 4 will have a more mature/darker vibe. That kiddie feel never sat completely right with me. And even though I've had confidence in 343 from the jump, more and more of it is building for me.

Just heard the samples trailer and have to say it's a bit of a mixed bag for me at the moment but then again I haven't heard it against a backdrop of Halo 4 gameplay montage. Though as a Halo fan it saddens me somewhat, it's good 343 Studios are doing their own thing including with the soundtrack.
