It's possible that given your noobiness, spurge was doing that to catch you, but it was a pretty weak attempt if you ask me.

While I understand how you think similar behavior can mean mafia buddies, it's more likely that if I was intentionally copying spurge, that would indicate that I am scum, not spurge. Just fyi. Another mafia tactic is called parroting. It's characterized by a mafia jumping in on a lynch, or summarizing suspicions on a player, by basically repeating what a townie (usually a townie) says.

Now I am having a feeling that moreno is just a vanilla. I really don't want to meta but this one always happen if moreno doesn't have a role.

I would think that he would have countered or at least acknowledged it.

Frankly, I got my first suspicion from this post

The first thing that leapt out was "some sort of progress".

The key words here is "some sort". This implies that he has virtually no worthwhile ability, otherwise he likely would've not said any of this, careful not to say anything he shouldn't.

Secondly, do you say this as a townie? No. Why? Because he's telling us about his role. A vanilla townie's job is to make himself a target.

Lastly, you combine these facts along with the fact that he didn't even have a vote down, and you begin to see that the only progress he wants is a nightkill.
A lynch, even a mislynch, is progress in itself. Why vote under the banner of progress, and not contribute to either discussion or a lynch?

It is also important to note that radish was the one on the chopping block at the time. What this tells me is that radish is likely a townie, moreno is likely a mafia, and his goal was to rush people into the mislynch. Later he will say "I was waiting for something". Radish, if I need to remind everyone, had 4 votes at the time. That's tipping point. That's the point where players start to get the motivation to vote just for the sake of the lynch. He didn't care to comment at the time, and later, when he says he was waiting, he already had plenty. He will then argue to me that "a no vote is similar to a no-lynch". If he was really for not lynching radish, he should've made it a point to talk about it.

That is why he refuses to talk, that is why he refused to vote, and that is why, even now in his final moments, he has neither claimed, nor acknowledged my claim of him, nor contributed as much as he can.
