It aint gonna be £500 for an emulator of 20 year old games, that can all be played on PS3 and PSP for pounds each.

That price is wrong mark my words.

Well, given it's limited edition they might have produced and predicted very low, yet substantional numbers for the system.

Here ya go didnt take me long to find this

UPDATE: A spokesperson for Blaze has told Eurogamer that the £500 price tag suggested in MCV's story is incorrect.

"It's not £500," they confirmed. Apparently MCV's figure was based on a month's old forum post from a community member declaring what he'd be willing to pay for the device.

Blaze wouldn't confirm what the actual price will be, but said an official announcement will be made soon.

Thanks, I'll update the OP.

And why the fuck would I put a space between Neo and Geo? Its name is NeoGeo X, after all.

The company's (SNK) system was called the Neo Geo and this system is called Neo Geo X.  You see the space there.  Anyways, you missed the entire funny part of the story....

I'm interested in picking this up to go along with my 20th Anniversary Edition GBA Micro.  Then I will have 2 20 year edition hand held systems (prob should have just said this).

It is all good if you care to see something funny leading up to my first post then go to badgenome's wall.

If it contained more games (a lot more - like all KOFs and Metal Slugs) than it would be worth the price. Hell, if it contained all NEO GEO games, they could charge a Panda and it would be ok.

SNK do it again. They sure love overpricing all their devices.

The stuff SNK was doing in the 90s could not have been sold at a lower price point.

This device obviously is fake, BS article or just wrong price getting quoted.

It's not £500 that was made up.
