That's disappointing, though not entirely unexpected. To be honest, that was one of the last parts of the fandom really keeping me interested. The show hasn't felt the same this season, and I've been losing interest for a while now. I'll probably watch the show until it ends, or it gets really terrible, but I'm afraid it's lost its luster for me.

They've never been interested in our community. Individual members of the staff have, but the actual executives only thing in terms of toy lines. They'd rather be completely safe and take easy decisions to shut down anything not theirs.

So I guess the point is they're not 'thinking' at all, and that's actually the right call concerning their jobs and shareholder's short-term expectations. But not about art, or culture, or long-term business viability.

I know how you feel, the characters are still cool but this season is lacking something. The people at Neogaf are saying that the comic is much better than season 3 but I'm not too keen on comics. Maybe I'll give the first issue a quick read if there are any scans online.
