Not really. I had no problem telling people that I watched MLP. My change of heart really has nothing to do with pressure or even contempt for the show. I'm just over it. It's been nearly a month since I watched that timber wolf episode and I've never watched, read, or did anything pony related (exception being this thread since it's bookmarked). I'm not drawn to it anymore. The effect wore off. I can't explain it any differently.

Most of the 'swag' I once had was distributed between my two nieces. I still have the signed stuff and the key chain, which is still on my keys. That Rainbow Dash bag was stuffed with Halloween candy last I saw of it.

Tell you what. If you stop by Canterlot Garden again in August/September, I'll hang and buy you a drink or two.

Alicorn Twilight confirmed. Goodbye show, was nice knowing you.

(The change itself is only merely /bad/, it's the decision making that led to this that's the problem)

I've got to say the same thing happened to me at a similar time. There have been things in the show I hated, out of caring for it... but these last few episodes I have just felt indifferent towards, not watching as they air and partly skipping through. It's not even that they've been bad. Also my interest in pony-related music, the main draw, was killed by one particular thing that no one else would care about.

Such that I have time I'm now using it on watching speedrunning.

Yeah i'm losing interest in MLP fast. Between season 2 and 3 I was listening to pony music and on equestria daily every day but now I only watch the episodes and I haven't watched the most recent one yet. Season 3 just hasn't been that good, but when I look back at previous series they didn't have that many interesting episodes for me either. Maybe it's the songs, there haven't been many good songs this series, crystal fair being the only one I really liked. Applejacks song was horrible. Also just noticed that the finale isn't a 2 parter? -_-
