Hey everyone. First post here, though I've been lurking for ages, and I hope I got the images inserted properly. Anyway, I've been a brony for a little over a year but didn't start drawing until about two months ago. Got the idea the other to make griffin-versions of some of the existing ponies from the show. Hope to have some meaningful discussion with you all!

The drawings are terrible and I have no idea why the above posts give praise. The outlines look like they were done in Paint and the mouth/beak combination is disturbing.

They aren't bad for a relatively new artist. I'm sure you know very well why people praised them. Bronies tend to be an overly nice bunch, which is terrible when someone is hoping for feedback on their work. Still, it's better to offer kind advice on how to improve than to just criticize.

And yeah, I know they're far from perfect, and I'm fine with criticism and advice on how to improve. I just wasn't sure what Solareon meant with his since the mouth and beak thing is done in the show with Gilda at least (I'm unsure about Gustave), and the outline I know is wobbly and amaturist at best, though I'm fairly certain the colors for the outlines are spot on. I'm still getting used to drawing on a tablet; those two were the first I did on it and not my mouse.
Anyways, I don't really want to start a big dispute since it's my first day and all haha. It's nice to meet you all.
