Now that you mention it, i do wonder if the two shooting stars represent Applejack's potentially dead parents. That was really the only thing i was hoping for from an "Apple Family Reunion" episode, running with ideas like Applejack's parents doing what AJ herself did as a little kid, running off to be a fancy city-pony, and have them come back.

John De Lancie's documentary is finished! I never spent money for a digital documentary before because I figure I'll see it later for free somewhere. But I'm actually considering spending the $13.

They're... charging for it?

WTF. The Kickstarter funded it to break-even, I thought that was the point. I assumed the donators got a 720p download and everyone else gets Youtube, and then it helps to actually introduce people to ponies/change their image.

I'm not upset because I think these things are unredeemably bad as a concept but wow.

It's no secret bronies are being exploiting. But then again all fandoms are. You should see the crazy amount of stuff people buy at the bronycoms. Shit even Tara Strong was swiping credit cards on her Iphone. Andrea Libman charged me $10 for a picture with her... I still feel dirty for that. I never paid for sex, but I'm pretty sure it's the same dirty sensation.

I can't imagine what Seth earns from EqD as well.

The worst one, I think, was Michelle Creber getting KS donations/charging for a decidely non-pony Christmas song (i.e. unoriginal) cover album with an unspecified (low) amount for charity.
