These are definitely just jokes, predicated on the confusion of familial love for... something else.

Mr Khan's whole interest in ponies is based on what he and others can build out of the show's canon.

Not entirely. It's a good cartoon, first and foremost, with the kind of characters, pacing, and humor that made its forebears, PPG and Foster's). That it happens to have a compelling, cohesive, but mostly unexplored world really happens to fire my imagination. (as opposed to, say, Avatar the Last Airbender, which has a large world, but a world that is almost completely explored in the course of the show).

In this case, it seems to be Fimfiction that's promoting the Princest. I found that Sister Love story on their "Featured" list, which is where i found that comic that someone linked in the comments section (because the plot of that story was based on the same premise).

That's a tough one that I think I am going to leave for Radish to decide since he will be a better judge of my character :P

I would say Magic or Honesty, Magic because Twilight is the pony i am probably most like in terms of personality, or honesty because i'm really not good at lying or keeping secrets.

I'm not sure. Well, I think I can rule out magic, because I don't have any magical abilities. Aside from that... I have represented each of the remaining five at some point in my life, but I have also failed miserably at each. I think it would depend on when (and who) you ask. My best guess currently would be honesty. 

It's tough to narrow down anybody to one element, but I'm going to grant Yoshiya the element of loyalty ^^
