I'm going to try to keep this thread alive, even though the series has ended- it's a good thing having it active, since everyone can see it :D

You mean the season has ended. Season 3 is coming. If it wasn't, there wold be war.

Having rewatched it, it is both my favourite episode and the best thing ever made for television I have seen.

Everyone involved did their best. As much as I would be sad if S3 wasn't happening, they fulfilled the best expectation s of anyone who's been watching since the first episode.

I'm now looking forward to when school ends so the fan content picks up for the summer. Fanmusic only really started late summer last year, and the big exciting game projects should make progress.

I have only seen one article that didn't like the show, and one comment saying it was just eh on reddit. Everything else has been overwhelmingly positive. And there has already been an explosion of fanart about both Cadance and Chrysalis. And I'm impressed with what people have done so far.

Be prepared.

Well, I'm sure that some of you have been wondering if there is an extended version of Love is in Bloom, since the one we got in the finale was... short. The good news is that there is! The bad news is that we don't know when/if it will be released.

Half the song that was there was obscured by dialogue also.

I hope that soundtrack CD they talked about appears, would import no matter what the cost.

Did anyone else think the chorus of BBBFF is too similar to Perfect Stallion (my big bro-ther / best friends-for-ev-er vs this one's too young, this one's-too-old )? It's close enough I can't enjoy either song now.

They're not that similar but I can see why you would think they are. I'm not a fan of Perfect Stallion so it doesn't affect me.

Yeah, I can kinda see why you would think they are similar, but I don't think they're that close. I do still like both though (The jelly pony made me laugh far more than I should have). The only song that I can think of right now that I'm not a huge fan of was the You Gotta Share song. I don't know why, but I just didn't like it as much.

A pretty good episode. Maybe not the best of the season, but still great. I'm glad they didn't do the whole "the bride(groom) is getting cold feet" storyline like you find in a lot of places. And none of the songs really stuck out to me =/

I think we're all glad they didn't go that route. I would have hated Cadance and Shining Armor if they did. I actually expected that I would dislike them, but after having seen the finale, I like them quite a bit.

Also, I felt that way at first about the songs, but I loved This Day Aria because it was so unexpected and it fit really well. They've all grown on me after I've listened to them more... which is pretty common with a lot of the songs in the series.
