Not sure if anyone has already posted this but I like it, it sounds like something out of a Pokemon game:

Blue Angels were training the last couple days here -interrupting my professors' lectures every time they passed by. Rainbow Dash would be proud. They're here in Cleveland EVERY year but amazingly I never gave two poops about them until I learned the Wonderbolts were a reference to them.

I might actually go see the show this time.

I didn't figure they were a reference to the Blue Angels specifically, just to air performers in general, of whom the Blue Angels are the best-known (and having the resources of the US Navy will help with that)

Well, they were never officially confirmed as such, but the color scheme of the Wonderbolts are too similar to the Angels. It's a dead give away that they are a direct reference to the Blue Angels. In my opinion at least

The British Red Arrows are visible from my old high school.

I definitely want to see the Blue Angels at some point.

I'll admit to having never heard of the Blue Angels before haha. I knew there was an American equivalent to our Red Arrows but I would never have been able to tell you it was them. Either way yea, I am pretty sure it is a direct reference to them, as hat says, the colour scheme is too similar to just pass off.

I've been watching the Season 4 finale of Teen Titans, and noted that Child Raven sounds almost exactly like Twilight Sparkle (obviously they have the same VA. Just an observation that tweaking Raven to a higher pitch gets you Twilight Sparkle)

Before everyone freaks out, yes, this is twiluna, but it is also a fairly spectacular watercolor job.
