I really only had the Silent Hill 2 ending in mind. It was hard to come up with other choices since most games end with a "they lived happily ever after" type ending. I was kind of confused about the order you wanted so, just to be clear, Silent Hill 2 "In Water" is my number 1 pick as the saddest video game ending.

Can you correct or clarify?

I think I wasn't clear enough, I meant 3 points is the saddest, and you said SH2 is your saddest pick.

pokemon mystery dungeon was really sad for a kids games and the over all story from when they were cast out of the village was also sad
