Different metagames, friend. The smogon tier list accounts for singles, all ubers cannot be used in ou (standard) or any tier below. However, the tier list does not apply to doubles or VGC. VGC rules (which smogon applies to all double battles), including banned pokemon, are decided by Nintendo themselves and updated every year preceeding the official VGC event.

Since VGC is much faster and more aggressive then singles, many powerhouses that get booted to ubers in the standard metagame prove to be much more balanced in VGC.

im just going by what we have so far the only one i really dony like is mewtwo but i mean i could change with new info and im kind of baised in the sense that Amphros is my favorite pokemon.

But that'd only be 4 days before the game came out! Surely the September issue or a Nintendo Direct or something will spill the beans before then!

actually most likly it it would be 2-5 days after corocoro comes out around the 12 we will get the leaks 4 days early but i was debateding the nintendo direct but i think its somthing they want the early adopters to find out on there own but i could see them doing it in setember but my gut fealing is they will do it in october 



True, they're not gonna reveal everything before launch. It's always good to find out new things when playing a game afterall! It's why I purposely try to keep myself in the dark on certain games I know I'll like. I mean, I know I'll like Pokemon X/Y, but I wasn't sure I'd get it until recently, and by that point I already knew quite a bit about the game. Plus it's not like it will have truely new storyline, or structure rather.

It seems that mega stones are exclusive to each mega evolution. The blazekin mega evolution seems to only be obtained via a certain mega stone called Blazekinite exclusive to WiFi distributed Torchic

thinking about WIFI events are us westerners going to be screwed again. seeing as its a worldwide release and all games have the 7 languages.

if so you would be best off importing (if you want to buy a JP 3DS) as its still playable in English
