Yes I know but they´re still buying more XBOX which is unusual for an european country. 

So because they buy even more of another product they dont like playstation.  They like both a lot... just xbox more. Saying they dont like it is perverse given the stats.

They just like xbox more this gen, as a % there are still more PS3's in homes in the UK than any other country.

OK I get your the brits buy more PS3`s than any other European Country. But why is there a big Price difference in the UK, or are the games cheaper. I mean the difference is huge.

In my modest opinion, i think that the Playstation 3 only leads in europe for 2 reasons.

First, because the EU prefers to adopt one mark wich it deems better than all others according to past achievements. So,  the playstation brand. SEGA has this goodwill aswell after the genesis but squandered it away with the saturn.

The second big reason is the champions league. Playstation sponsors the champions league for many years now. It gives them great exposure and acceptance... though no doubt SONY has to pay rivers of money for it.
