Forums - Gaming - Android phones now can carry the chrome browser!

Chrome browser is spreading on android.... There have been a few other phones announced that will either automatically incorporate chrome or offer it on market. Either way, look for chrome to steal more market share once google stops penalizing chrome in its search and more phones have chrome. I'm guessing that it will take perhaps 3 or 4 more percent market share within a year from now

Absolutely, but ICS is the OS version that future android phones will have, so this can't be a huge complaint from you.

ICS is absolutely the future...but some kid out there is going to read your OP and is going to wonder why he can't get Android for his Gingerbread device.

Making factually accurate and informative threads is important when posting news like this.

I for one would love to give Chrome a go on my Motorola Milestone, if only to see how the tabs and bookmarks sync with my desktop...but no ICS will be available for my device. :)

I got excited thinking I might be able to use Chrome on my Evo 4g.  =(

An Evo? Is that an HTC phone? HTC announced that they will be allowing upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich on their phones in the next couple of months, so it's comin

Only the EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G will get ICS according to HTC.

However, if you root, you could probably have ICS now or very soon.

Htc's blog says that 16 devices will have ICS soon...
