So I am considering purchasing my first pinball machine sometime this year (though maybe next year since I have to save for a wedding)

Any suggestions on tables?

So far I am considering:

Simpson Pinball Party
Super Mario Brothers
Indiana Jones
Lord of the Rings

as these things are pricey (3- 8 grand) I will be doing a bunch of research, but wanted to get a gaming community's opinion on quality tables to factor into the mix.

Will be hitting up the Pinball Hall Of Fame next time I am in Vegas as well.

we have some good ones at my work. Austin powers being my favorite to be honest. We have had the simpons one. it is fun. We also had a pirates of the caribean one. But austin was always my favorite. If i can think of the others i will post my thoughts on them.

Used to like the Adams Family one a lot which was at one of my old jobs. It kind of cheated with magnets (sometimes screwed you by lining it up dead center). but sometimes helped you.  Had tons of multi-balls is all I remember.  Was pretty easy getting multi-balls.

I also enjoyed the T2 one considering I loved T2 at the time. Not sure if it is that good but I remember it being decent.

I remember enjoying the Star Wars Episode 1 Pinball Machine when I was younger, so I would check that one out. Adams Family and South Park tables were pretty cool too, though I don't remember them too well.

A pre-owned purchase is possible, provided parts were not pilfered, nor product quality pared.  Playability precedes price point of said purchase, particularly in a predominantly praise-worthy pasttime.
