Forums - General - US job numbers show strong growth

The short answer here is, faced with a downward long-term trend in economic vitality, the U.S government has resorted to changing how stats are tracked, to make things look good, so that politicians in Washington can get reelected. Shadowstas site goes into this. The big secret here is they don't know how to fix things. And this goes beyond Democrat or Republican, it is a systemic problem involved with how Washington works.

Thank you! You said it better than I ever could.  Spot on.

Instead of blaming Bush or Obama, how about we use some common sense and blame the two-party system that pits half of the country against the other half, all based on lies and deception.

Let's face it: We have way too much debt. We're no longer competitive with other countries for labor, we're obese, we're slowly getting stupider because public education is terrible, and because of labor laws and government intrusion in private business, with each passing generation, we're getting lazier and losing our work ethic, which used to be the envy of the world. Half of us don't even pay income tax anymore. Something's wrong!

Despite the strong economic growth we have seen over the past decade, unemployment remained high. However, ADP claimed that there were careers added in the United States economy. Though, today, many people are still unemployed. All in all, it’s the same story we have been hearing over and over. I got it here: Private Jobs Report.

The payroll services supplier ADP states that 176,000 jobs were put into the U.S. economy in June. The boost is moderate from May’s 136,000, but better than expected.
