I guess Shenmue lol, but why buy a dreamcast in this age?

Sometimes it's great to just play classics on an old console.

Once or twice a year, me and my brothers will dig out all the old consoles from the garage, and just have some nostalgia... Zelda: OoT, Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64, Crash Bandicoot, Time Crisis, Tony Hawks all awesome games.

Great times.

It also feels different to playing the games on an emulator, or a port to the PS3, or what-have-ya.

Am I right in saying that the Dreamcast was incredibly easy to pirate?

Literally, you would just have to burn the game to the disc, and it would load?

Not that I usually condone piracy... but you won't be able to buy anything first hand, nowadays, anyway... and I'm sure second hand games are even particularly rare.

You just need a boot cd. My worked this way: load the cd boot, turn off the console, than get out the boot cd, put the copied cd, turn on the Dreamcast.

P.S. Don't get me wrong,  i bought the games later if i liked them

I actually see your point, I kind of feel the same way. It's cool to whip out an old console to play a classic =D

The DC has a pretty unique controller too, so unless you buy a USB converter you won't be able to really experience it the way it was "meant to be". For some that's no biggie, but I'm a purist and am lucky to still have plenty of original hardware. But for many emulation is close enough. To each their own.
