different source i think but your 2 or 3 months late bud. i've already made this thread and the title should be changed cause the patten is was made in 2010 as the link and my original thread will show. plz have some journalistic integrity before posting a lie and or article.

make your title reflect the content of the article in question.

First off don't call me bud.....bud! Are you not aware that Nintendo was beginning planning stages of Wii U since 2008? These are called FACTS. So you roll it back to 2010, and I roll it back to 2008. Seeing as Nintendo has been planning Wii U for 2 years prior, there is absolutley noting wrong with my claim.

"journalistic integrity"? this isn't Harvard man seriously.

I provided you an article with a 2009 Sony patent. At that time nobody knew what it was. Who cares about WiiU being in planning stages since 2008? Sony showed us this method 3 years ago. They're copying Nintendo with nothing. The Move/Wiimote concept was shown by them in the year 2000.

ok we can drop the journalistic integrity part, but you lack the one fact that Sony couldn't possibly know Ninty was making Wiiu with a tablet, so the title of your thread is still wrong.

dud

Sony isn't looking over Nintendo's shoulder on this. Gameboy Advance was doing remote play before the PSP.

I'm tired of seeing people claim Sony doesn't innovate. Sony is never given the credit for doing something different.

Fixed, and thats because they've never brought anything genuinely new and innovative to "gaming". GAMING, i said.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

It doesn't matter what they know, the point of the Wii was to prove that companies like Sony and MS could never possibly put their whole heart into a new idea, and take risks.

I don't care what anybody says about MS and Kinect, that was not a risk. They hired Kawishima and the marketing execs from Nintendo, they bought Rare, and they photocopied Nintendo's campaign from top to bottom.

Really hope sony won't have a screen on the controller for ps4. I don't want a bigger controller + why would I want to look at a small screen when I can just click the start button and see the same thing on my big TV?

Better question: Why would you play using dual sticks when you only need one to control the character?

Both questions are pretty decent though.
