Many people seemed to ignore the Service Alert issued on Tuesday of this week http://www.gamepur.com/news/6794-xbox-live-connection-problem-reported-microsoft-issues-service-alert.html If you watched Anonymous's new video, they said they already have access to XBL. It's too much of a coincidence that this service alert was issued so close to this Anonymous threat.

This is just speculation on my part. What do you guys think?

It's possible but why would they only take down Europe? If they were going to take XBL down they would do it to the whole thing.

If MS gets it back up and running within 24 hours then it probably wasn't hacked.
