Forums - PC - Magicka sells 1.3 million copies since launch, new expansion revealed

During the Paradox Interactive Convention in Stockholm, Sweden, Paradox revealed that its action-adventure game Magicka, which was released on 25th January, 2011, has sold 1.3 million copies since launch.

The publisher also reported an impressive 4 million sales for DLC, while the expansion pack Magicka Vietnam sold 500,000 units.

To celebrate the good news, Paradox also announced that a new expansion pack is in development for Magicka, which will be named 'The Other Side of the Coin', and allows you to try out the game from the bad guys perspective. That's all we know at the moment, but expect more details later today.

Joe Robinson is currently out at the Paradox Interactive Convention, which runs from 18th Jan until 20th, so expect more announcements and assets to be published as we get them.

It has some neat ideas and there is nothing quite like it, but it's not for everyone and can be quite frustraighting at times plus is still quite buggy.
