Simple Question For Everybody here. Which of the "Big 3" Will be the first to leave the gaming industry as time moves foward. (R.I.P Atari and Sega)

Based on the actual financial situation of the whole company, I think Sony would be the first to call it quit.

If you are going to make a thread , ask the question properly.

Something like, "based on the current state of Sony, MS and Nintendo, which of the three companies do you think would be the most likely to leave the industry in the future?" ETC.

Tell people to give reasons for their answers like, the companies financial state, bad philosophies and so on or it's just going to be a thread with bullshit fanboy answers with no reasoning.

I'm just saying, y'know, if  you're gonna make a thread like this, don't half ass it.  Especially when the question was given so much better in the  GAF thread!

If anyone, Sony has a good chance, as a company they've been making a loss, but then again - PS3 was profitable before the price cut - not sure if it still is. But the new console launches are very expensive, depends how Vita pans out really, but even with that in hand, it shouldn't happen for a good decade or so as they have plenty of assets and patents.

Nintendo have made an absolute boatfull on the Wii and they always seemed to make profit, this generation has been insanely profitable for them, so they can take a few hits before calling it quits, and even then Nintendo always has a loyal following with plenty of classic first party games such as Zelda, Mario etc.

Microsoft has increased it's marketshare since the entry of the original xbox, when the brand is growing, it just wouldn't make sense to leave the market now, and they are in no financial disadvantage to not being able to move forward, after all MGS is making profit for few years now and the brand awareness is growing.

I Dont think it was necessary to make 3-4 paragraphs asking a simple and rather straight forward question such as this one. And I dont "Half ass" my threads. I just thought i would rather be straight forward in asking this question. (Sorry for you misunderstanding)
