I hope he's right so that Sony can carve out a piece of the market to keep Nintendo in check.

 We're talking about first 3 month sales, which i believe 3DS was behind DS on when you properly alligned launches.

If the launch lineup was better, then Vita would have sold more in its first japanese week (ie a holiday week) than the 3DS did in a non holiday week. it didn't, therefore the 3DS had better launch games.

The rest of the argument falls apart pretty easily from there. Sony is heading for the same dearth of software that will drive hardware sales in the first 3 months. 3DS will most likely outsell Vita, barring a price drop within the next month.

Sony has been saying all games will be avaliable by download practically since they annouced it.

ALL  the PSVita games will be available from the PSN Store for Download... and some games will be ONLY ON PSN... that's already confirmed...

Not when memory cards are sold out. Vita's launch games are far better then 3DS and 3DS games within 3 months were crap compared to what Vita is coming out with. It was only recently that 3DS started to get some good games and that was 9-10 months after it's launch.

Who the shit cares about 3 months. Why would he predict that. Predict first year at minimum. First three months mean jack shit. Who has a better first year means a thousand times more.

Then why did more people buy the 3DS is a non holiday launch week than bought Vita in a holiday launch week?
