On an interview, Greg Pak has  stated that Storm is one of his favorite comic characters. He suggested about making a petition for Storm to get her own ongoing comics, with him writing it. So a petition was made through twitition.

Storm is one of the most popular female comic characters in Marvel Comics yet she wasn't given the chance to get her own ongoing series.

So she really deserves to have one and hopefully will.  Greg Pak needs to see the support so that Marvel give him a go signal to start writing Storm on her own ongoing series.

Anyway, Greg Pak himself has signed the petition so it really, really looks like he wants this to happen. : )

I'm amazed that Storm has never had an ongoing series (that I can recall, anyway). It would be interesting to see what Pak could do with the character but it almost seems to me that this would have been a grand idea 25 years ago... not sure about now.

Man, you really love Storm, huh? Problem is, comics industry is dying. They're just too expensive to produce and don't sell nearly as well as they should. Even I, as HUGE comic fan, have just given up on the hobby entirely. It would be nice if Storm had a comic but it wouldn't succeed. It's just not the right time.
