First Castlevania, now Metal Gear.

Lords of Shadow was great though, its actually the best 3D castlevania.

but ! it didn't suddenly turn into a hack and slash, it was a hack and slash platformer since always.

this one was a stealth game and turned into a hack and slash two extremely different genres that contradict each other

Gameplay-wise, yes. But I don't know man, I just didn't feel like I was playing a Castlevania game.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I was thinking on buying the game used for like $15 when it's price drops, but now that I know it's a spin-off, I might as well not play the game at all and just watch the beginning and ending on youtube.

So basically the same interactivity as an actual MGS game?

Not quite, but close. Still better than being able to beat the game with my eyes closed as long as I keep randomly pushing buttons.

As opposed to not pushing any buttons at all while the game "plays" itself?

I know it gets called a movie, but COME ON!

I'm being faceitious, though I think my response was warranted.  If this is an alternate universe where you can beat Platinum games with "my eyes closed as long as I keep randomly pushing buttons" then this is also a universe where you can fully complete every previous Metal Gear without ever picking up the controller.

I would like some sort of stealth a bit less than MGS4 though. I don't want this lovely series to turn into street fighter. The trailer looks great but removing stealth is a pretty bad option.
