I've never seen someone do it to someone to legit mean fuck you. People just do it to their friends and what-not.

For the "fuck you" purpose, I think it has more or less gone out of style. The only time I would need to use it is for stupid ass drivers. I've grown the habit of using my annoying ass horn instead, however. That way, other people can hear it too, hence having more of an impact on how stupid the driver feels.

I have to say, I didn't quite understand why the person wouldn't finish crossing the highway yesterday even after I honked them. They waited until there was a mile in between cars I think...
