hmmm with HD DVD no longer much as a competitor the consumers lose out? Wow who saw that coming... Good thing all the blu-ray fanboys pushed for this to happen. YAAAA higher prices!!!!!

 If you actually click on the price link you'd see those marked down prices are on used models.


 im sorry but no.. they give a price of 260 for used on the page I linked. The mark down is actually Amazon;s price.

You do realize that Blu-Ray players were on sale for 399 back on Black Friday? And regularly priced $499 at the time? They were put on sale for $299 right before Christmas, and now they're in the middle at $350-400. That's not really raising the price.
