You do realize that Blu-Ray players were on sale for 399 back on Black Friday? And regularly priced $499 at the time? They were put on sale for $299 right before Christmas, and now they're in the middle at $350-400. That's not really raising the price.

The Samsung sold NEW from Amazon is only $338, and the Sony is only $369. Yup, nothing over $399. *rolls eyes*

True, true, most people I know didn't even care when I told them about the 99 dollar hd-dvd sale at wal-mart. And never even heard of blu-ray
