Agreed.  There's practically no way the specs "leaked" today are true given everything else we know has been confirmed about WiiU.

If you are giving that rumor some credibility, even though the Broadway part couln't be more wrong, why haven't you included the last rumor that Microsoft was going with AMD for the CPU?

Both of them have low credibility, yet the second one at least comes from a more reliable source than an anonymous source.

Difference is the AMD one came from ONE source, while the Wii U one from today has had teasings previously that I ignored.

AMD one also contradicts the supposed Durango dev kits. However, if another big leak comes out that shares the AMD stuff, I'll update it.

Almost all the rumors pointed to a tri-core CPU, but that doesn't mean tri-core "Broadway" CPU. No one said the Broadway part until now.

For movies.... something PS3 and other bluray players can already do. OP is for games primarily. Granted, I didn't even list 3D but I bet they all can do that, though don't think it will have much of a focus.

teasings = numerous 'devs' who stated its barely more powerful than 360. (not "on par" stuff)

...i think you are wrong about the ps3 being able to output at 4k. 

i can see your point about it being only for movies (games obviously won't render at (or anywhere near) 4k) but as cost is as much a part of this discussion as specs i would think it is at least worth mentioning.
