I woudn't get to hyped about a demo. Did you see the wonderful demo from PS3 for killzone? Game looked nothing like it when it released. Same for that racer game that launched.

Once people play PS4 games, they'll realize how terrible the graphics were on PS360 all this time. The Wii U already feels 5 years outdated. And that's just the first game not even taking advantage of PS4's hardware.

That was a demo and given Sony past... yeah. Plus, There was nothign in there I don't think WiiU couldn't do. This is first run games... don't expect crazy.

Honestly it looked as good as SW1313 or BF3, etc. All of which are on current consoles... where WiiU is stronger.

God, now we're going to have to hear comments like this ish until ground up WiiU games are demo'd.

EDIT: dont' get me wrong... PS4 is clearly going to greatly out-do WiiU in the long run.

Haha, what was Cevat saying just the other day? Crysis 3? Yeah, right....

No disrespect to that Killzone Demo, but Crysis 3 has way superior graphics/details/textures/character models.

This is real time graphics in Crysis 3 on the PC maxed out...

All the vegetation reacts with the wind, etc. In that Killzone Demo, the ground was mostly flat with some flower petals. Still impressive for a first PS4 game demo.

Oh, no doubt Crytek has great tech, but somehow lot of that Killzone demo looked to me lot better. Might be cause of Crytek's usual more than average art direction...(and for the record, this is from someone who still considers FarCry 1 one of best FPS ever).

How flexible do you think they could be with pricing at this stage? I wonder how close to launch you can change the system's price.

I have no idea. I read rumors of 2 priced SKUs, $429 and $529.

P.S. Holly cow 8GB of unified GDDR5 with 170GB/sec memory bandwidth. Game over for Xbox 720 w/DDR3. MS needs a GPU/memory subsystem redesign to even try and compete at this point on graphics. This is how the PS3 should have been designed: x86 CPU + the rest of the $ spent on the GPU/memory! Well done.

PS3 titles aren't natively supported on PS4.

@superchunk

The gap is even bigger than PS2 to PS3... so powerful... even more than I expect.

I don't think so.

But it is certainly more than I thought it would be when I started this thread last year.

I think that its now safe to think late gen games won't be on WiiU.

All these first run could.. hell most are even on PS3 and likely X360.

I updated OP with details I saw in presentation. Please let me know if I missed anything. I'm also going to be on the look out for the inevitable PS4 info page Sony puts up soon so I can link it.
