We should get a rough idea, but like the Wii U it'll probably take a while after launch until we know absolute specifics. Or maybe less, as there seems to be a lot more interest in the tech community with these consoles than the Wii U. Not to mention leaks. 

The Wii U GPU seems to be a sub-200 GFLOS... neither I could even foresee that coming.

You're making assumptions on 1/2 of the known GPU architecture. You should wait until its fully known.

The chip have some specific hardware units to help but the GPU seems to have 160 shaders... ~176GLOPS at 550Mhz.
