It's quite possible that early dev kitts used 2 older GPUs while they waited for final silicone to be finalised. They did the same thing for early X360 kitts. Things tend to change a lot from alpha kitts to final hardware.

2 TF isn't that hard to achieve.

Like I said before I expect to PS4 have at least 1.8 TF... anything less will be disappointing for me.

I don't think any console will have more than 2.5 TF this new gen.

I expect the PS4 to have 3 - 5 teraflops of output. 

If the PS4 didn't reach that, That's what would be disappointing to me.

However, I'm still not convinced a PS4 will be launching in 2013...we'll see I guess.

Its not, but its also not going to happen due to increased costs, heat, and wattage for a console that needs to be ~$350 to $400.

But you don't know what the wattage or the cost of a custom GPU chip.  Keep in mind that I said chip....because unlike what you might buy for your PC with a 7950 or 7970, for example, Consoles only use the chip....not the whole board.

True, but its still not happening. THere has yet to be a single rumor... credible rumor that in any way points to either system being in the realm you want to see.
