[Rumor] The Witcher 2 delayed yet again on Xbox 360?

It looks like those anticipating the 360 version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in February may have to wait a bit longer.

Being at my local Best Buy today, I noticed that even though the preorder kiosk allowed you to select the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 to preorder, it wouldn’t ring up at registers, with an invalid SKU number being the cause of the issue. An additional look on Amazon.com reveals a “May 2012″ release date, which is a full 3 months from the original February 14, 2012 release date.

No official word has been given from developer CDProjekt RED or 360 version publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

That's fine. I'm going to re-beat ME1,ME2 in anticipation of Mass Effect 3 during that time. Oh, and I have yet to put much time into Skyrim. So the game can come out in the Summer if it wishes.

It's probably not good idea to release in March/April anyways, because a majority of the big games come out in March (Namingly Ghost Recon, Mass Effect, Max Payne 3, SF X Tekken , Silent Hill Downpour and supposedly the new Resident Evil game. It's not a good idea to release in that packed month, just like it isn't a good idea for a lot of companies to release games in November.

They should aim for a summer release(June/July)

I'm fine with. I'd be playing ME3 anyways.

Shit, I hate when games get delayed!!
