i still don't get the reason why they claim halo made fps great im pretty sure golden eye and timesplitters were much better games and were out before halo :/

the gameplay isnt outdated, just different.

I realise that these days in a FPS it has to be full on and in your face for the whole game but Halo CE isnt like that and thats why I love it.

Halo CE was successful for a reason.

 

Yes it is, and even when you compare it with the other Halo games. Except for an trip trough nostalgia you will think whole the time 'Oh yeah that was not yet possible in Halo CE'  Oh yes can't steal the enemy's banshee/ghost, oh yes can't pick up a sword yet, oh yes boosting with a vehicle is not possible yet, Oh yes dual wielding not possible,  no sprint neither....   It takes time to adjust to.



 

Nice, you can create custom challenges in Waypoint, sady can't choose how much CR you get for it =p..
