Sup John. First off, start using the Scar as soon as you unlock it and try the kick proficiency. At first I was trying to fight the good fight with the M16 because I like me some 3 round burst weapons, M16 in MW2 and G11 in BO, but out of frustration, I tried the Scar and that seemed to help me a lot. I think once you find a weapon that you like, stick with it for a while because it will get better. I've moved onto the Type 95 and I'm really liking it, it's probably gonna be the one for me in this game. Also, as soon as you kill someone, turn around and be ready, the spawning is a little crazy. It seems like the game tries to force you into a certain play style, fast and furious, at least more so than the last two COD games imo.

My kd is 2.92 at the moment. It's definitely the hardest cod yet. My kd for MW2 was 3.20 

I find playing defensiviley works best in mw3. let them rush you and take em down while they're in motion as they won't be aiming down site. I played very aggresively in MW2 and Black ops but that doesn't seem to work so well in MW3 as the guns do more damge this time round.

Do not try Rushing if you are a low level, you cannot be able to win against another player who is at a higher level (better guns and perks).


Usually I am starting to do better as I get to know the maps, and know the camp sites and choke points where I can camp.

Lol in the start use the Rocket launcher to get cheap kills. I get kills around 80% of the time with a Rocket Launcher shot.

Competition is tough, I am like level 20 and in 4 million th place lol.

In Blacks ops especially small maps, I loved using supressor Shotguns... Those things were unstopable at short range.

I hope it helps too! I haven't done it myself (but I've heard it works for some people) but I haven't been having any major issues with lag or bad hit detection so I haven't had any reason to do it. 

Yeah I'm with you there! MW3 is definitely harder to avoid death. In Black Ops and MW2 I held 3.00k/d ratios when I was going super try hard, but right now I'm like a 1.6/1.7 so mine's pretty much cut in half as well. Granted I do play basically just Kill Confirmed and many of my deaths are rushing out for dog tags. 

Yeah, well I tend to get people that are wounded and I shoot them first and they still kill me. I hate it!! It's BS!!! However, I should know that it's COD and that's to be expected.
