Business Tycoon Brendan McNamara is known for many business ventures and always had a facisnation with making games. Whether it was working with Team Soho for The Getaway or his dream of one day creating his very own game. He decided to follow that dream founding Team Bondi and investing a fortune in the studio. However despite creating one of this generation's most famos new IP and selling millions of copies the studio was millions in debt. Brendan McNamara found himself invested in a studio that bled money not even able to pay its own staff.
Many have blamed Brendan McNamara for the failure of Team Bondi and everyone thought that the closure of Team Bondi was the end. But it seems Brendan McNamara has decided he wants to make another game and the loss of his studio isn't going to stop him. Speaking to EuroGamer Brendan has said he has a game he is currently working on and it is going to be based on "...one of the great untold stories of the twentieth century. So I think it'll be good." He is quick to reassure everyone that he will not make the same mistakes he made with his old team "We think the evolution from The Getaway to L.A. Noire and learning the lessons we did on the way, and some of the stuff about emerging storytelling, is definitely an avenue to pursue."
Reports have flowed in that the next game will be equally as ambitious as L.A Noire was and will feature Depth Analysis facial software which was developed by Brendan for L.A Noire by another company he owns partially. Brendan hopes the game can redeem Team Bondi despite the closure of the studio and the resounding impression that Brendan was responsable for its failure.
Can Brendan create another great game? Will he be able to restore Team Bondi without Team Bondi? Brendan obviously thinks he is the next Miyamoto and that he can make a great game with or without the studio, what do you think can he make another great game?
