Forums - General - Need help with forums

I have the MS discussions forum bookmarked because that's where I spend most of my time. Well somehow yesterday while poking around looking through all of the threads I've posted in, I messed something up. Everything used to be in chronological order, nice and simple. Now when I visit the MS forum, it's all random date wise, I mean things from over a year ago show first. Same if I visit my topics. I'm guessing there is a simple way to fix this but I haven't been able to figure it out on my own. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I fixed that problem on my own when it happened with the new site a few months ago and I forgot how which is problematic since I have the same problem again..

Former something....

If you're using chrome, you can press ctrl+shift+delete and delete your cache and cookies* I had the problem once and it's solved now

*Try deleting cache with this site not open at the time you delete it, also sometimes it needed a couple of tries for me, just try again if it doesn't work... Also try pressing the arrange threads by "Latest Post" button under the big green "save" button

Good luck lol

Thank you so much, your suggestion of clearing the cache and deleting cookies is what worked for me.

That is good to know since my main we browser is now chrome. Adding stuff to the database looks different with it, but its way better than I.E and maybe even firefox!

Yeah I've been using Chrome for a long time now and I like it.

It's funny how I wasted way too much time trying to figure this shit out on my own and it took like 15 mins to get it done after posting this.

Once i accidentally clicked "Author" on top of the list of the author of the latest posts in each thread, and then from that day forward until my next cookie purge, everything was listed based on alphabetical order of author, which made no damn sense whatsoever

Thus miz's advice is likely the solution
