The white-haired, blue-eyed weather manipulator Ororo Munroe reigns supreme as she takes the top spot in Comic Vine's Top 100 Superheroes 2011 poll.

Storm led the voting poll with 196 pts, 27 points ahead against #2 Superman who accumulated 169 points. Morphues, Spider-Man, The Phantom, Aquaman and Thing followed behind.

Really? I haven't read the last X-Men Schism or the two offshoots of that yet but she has always seemed pretty boring and when they try to make her interesting (like the above comic) it always comes off as trying way too hard.

the list if totally beyond me and I miss Rogue

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

MORE THAN 80 MEMEBERS OF COMIC VINE!!? This is truly the definitive super hero ranking list!

In Storm's favor, out of all of the women of the Marvel Universe, she was the one chosen to go up against Wonder Woman in the Marvel vs, DC crossover. She's been the first lady of Marvel for ages, I guess. Good to see her getting some respect.

I read the big Marvel crossovers from time to time. Storm never seems to be in the spotlight. For that reason, I'm not a big fan of hers. Can you name some definitve Storm stories? I can order them on my phone and read 'em while I'm working.

She was in Black Panther Comics but she hasn't been present fora bit while in x-men comics. But Right now, she's on spotlight, sort of. She's currently leading a team in x-men #20 just released this month (which they've dealt with War machine) and onwards, and will be joining the avengers starting either this month or by january 2012. She's also in uncanny x-men #1 reboot. If you really want a good Storm story, which almost all Storm fans would recommend, get X-Men: Worlds Apart #1-4 which was released around 2009 i think.

They say X-Men Curse of the Mutants: Storm & Gambit #1 (2010) was a good one too

and Storm and Black Panther in The New Fantastic Four #544-550 (2007 issue) to see Storm in action.
