still playing VII on my psp. probably the 8th time. VIII 3 times. everything else once.

FFX still looks good on the PS2 especially the Cut Scenes, a good place for someone to start. Imo that and FFXII are two best looking games on that system.


The Story is uber whacked but quite interesting. Only thing is the random encounters, that is something you never experience in counsel games.

FFXII looks even better, the story is not as good however it still looks pretty good.

FFXII, to me, is a game I could play countless times, even after putting almost 300 hours into the game.

FFXII is pretty close to a online RPG game, its endless for sure.

I wouldn't really call it endless.

I still love it today. Maybe not as much as the first playthrough but it's always on the list of games I want to replay if I run out of games (not gonna happen soon). I still love the materia system more than any other battle system and the end game sidequests are really awesome.

just like vaan was ok until you saw what he was wearing then you heard his voice, and instant irritation lol

the old ff's rule just for nostalgia, i still play ff7 and ff8 every now and again to to remind me of what a real jrpg is lol:-p

But anyway,  I played FF7 months ago and the game was intact, the story got me hooked again and the characters too. The graphics are not much of a problem and the music it's still awesome. I didn't beat though because I lost my save and don't wanna start all over again. Altough FF7 is not the best FF to start playing the series right now. The best choice is probably FFX

See, I'd never start a series, especially one with 12 main games (not counting 11 or 14, since they're MMOs), with something that late. Personally, I'd say start with something like FF4.
