Looks like Square Enix Europe has plans to bring even more Eidos games to PlayStation Network. Fear Effect, a survival horror game set in future China, is on its way for a digital re-release.

 

PEGI, Europe’s ESRB equivalent, re-rated Fear Effect for PlayStation 3.  The rating board also evaluated Fighting Force and Fighting Force 2, two Streets of Rage style fighting games from Core Design, as PS3 games.

 

Last month, Siliconera reported Urban Chaos and Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix, a prequel to Fear Effect, were also rated by PEGI for PlayStation 3 too.

Fighting Force was a terrible game when it came out but Eidos was popular and the idea of two player co-op was a selling point. Avoid that game like the plague!

I still have my copy of Fear Effect (and Fighting Force, actually) and FE was great at the time. Hope it holds up well.

How dare you sir! I loved that game (I have low standards when it comes to 2-player co-op)! But I thought Fighting Force was already on the PSN? Unless this is just referring to EU?
