Forums - Gaming - Do you still play past generation consoles/handhelds

Not every day, but i regularly hook my N64 up for mario 64 / mario kart 64

Around the Network

Definitely. I'm still catching up on the PS1 and PS2 gens, since I became a die-hard PC gamer around 1997, up until 2005 or so. I've played about 80% of what I want to on the PS2, but my 360 thus far has got as much use upscaling original Xbox games as it has playing 360 games. Oh, and my Wii regularly uses only one of the two Gamecubes duct-taped together. (I kid, I kid!)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
