I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
I'm going to wait and see what deals they have for Black Friday.

At this time of the year, it's worth waiting for most things to see what's up with BF. I was talking with a gamer friend of mine who travels a lot and stays in hotels every week for his job. He was saying how he wants to get a computer monitor for his gaming needs as the fall line up takes place. First thing I said, wait til BF. This is still a good deal though if you don't want to wait.

This depends on where you live in Canada. I live fifteen minutes from the US border. So when Black Friday comes along I simply cross the border go to Best Buy and the mall. Problem is I spend up to 1,200USD and that is not good for Canada's economy lol!
Honestly I am waiting on all game and hardware purchases until BlackFriday. This is simply because a year ago I bought about 5 games between September and Black Friday. When I went to Black Friday I realized every one of the games I had paid 69.99$ for were priced at 39.99$. I unfortunetly had to purchase BattleField3 at launch and will be picking up SuperMario3DLand.SM3DL isn't likely going to be on sale I have been going to Black Friday for the last 6 or so years and Excite Bots is the only Nintendo published game I can recall being on sale. Nintendo software isn't often discounted and if it is it usually isn't recent titles or ones that show a lot of promise.
P.S don't worry we have Boxing Day coming up. I have noticed Washington State at least does not seem to celebrate boxing day. I noticed very few retailers in the states had any sales and those sales were not anything special. But here in Canada I have found sometimes our Boxing Day sales are even better then Black Friday sales. Example last year I bought all 3 Lord Of the Rings on BluRay at 14.99$ each I thought this was an amazing deal. But on Boxing day the collection of all three films on BluRay only cost 19.99$ I was super pissed as I paid over 20$ more on Black Friday.
I'd say in recent years Boxing Day has become nearly as good as Black Friday. Yah there are less items to choose from but those that are on sale are often just as good or better then the Black Friday deals. I found last year a lot of the software sales were actually identical to the Black Friday prices!
