 Yah, silly women. Most of them dream about the day some dude coughs one up. My original plan to propose to her was like this.

 Blindfold her, take her hand and walk her outside to the street. Take the blindfold off and pull the cover off a new Gixxer. Then get on my knee and ask her to marry me.

I bought my girlfriend 1000$ worth of pc parts for xmas this year.. intel quad core, nice mb, 2gb ram, 8800gts, sata hdd "she's a real gamer"... but she just gave birth to our daughter so its the least i could do

Being still a student I luckily manage to elegantly turn down every marriage possibility with a plausible excuse...
...But I relly fear marriage because I see too many failed marriages amongst my generation ando also lots of the people little older than me and all the generations younger than mine, and far too often, thanks to a minority of bastards, almost the totality of husbands fall victim of a false stereotype and gets treated very badly in divorces.
...Perhaps, together with the life getting more difficult in Italy during the last year, this is one of the reasons I still haven't passed the last exam, done the thesis and got my degree, although now I'm quite close...
The downside of my attitude is that even stories that go perfectly well suddenly end when my former girlfriends really understand I'm not for marriage, they always look modern and open to cohabitation, but deep down, excluding very modern ones, girls want a marriage with flowers, white wedding dress and absolute power on the husband.
