I was bored one night and thought that VGChartz needs its own character battle, ala how GameFAQs does theirs. Basically, I'm going to open up the "floor" and let people pick their top 5 characters that they would want in this tournament. It will be a single elimination tournament, with voting being open for 2-3 days per battle (still deciding).
RULES
1) List 5 characters, in numbered order, from any franchise or game. The character in the number 1 spot will receive 5 points, with number 2 receiving 4 points, and so on. After a week or so, depending on the number of entries, the votes will be tallied and I will divide them all into brackets.
2) Once all brackets are created, the first battle of the tournament will begin. It will be a 32 character tournament, with single elimination rules, meaning once that character loses one time, they are gone for good. The voting period for each battle will remain open for 2-3 days, but it may change depending on variables.
