That's just hilarious, no superchunk, you use your whole body in DC. If we're going to use ancedotal evidence (which I hate but here goes) everytime I've sene Just dance played, either IRL, in ads or on yourtube, all I've seen is the generic swaying back and fourth, there isn't any skill in it.

I don't believe the comment after either.

It's nothing to do with me being anti Nintendo, it's to do with the obvious, in one game you dance, in the other you use two controllers to track your arms. End of.

How, Seece? Just how?

How can you be so uninformed? There's even a video in the original post. In Just Dance you use only one Wiimote, so it doesn't even track two arms.

I meant 2 people ...

lol ad is funny... like anyone plays any dancing game alone.

In a party atmosphere... wii dance games are just more fun. More players at a time, just as much movement, etc...

Even Just Dance on Kinect isn't as much fun as the Wii version.

Even with the first Dance Central, you could play with as many people as you wanted. Once at a party, me and 7 friends all did the choreography to Poker Face simultaneously, sure only one guy was tracked and had a score but who gives a damn about that?

But but ... they didn't have a controller in their hand tracking their arm ...!!

Hopefully it pays off just as much as the Blur ads did.

So, you are pushing for the latest Just Dance to be a monster success, and the makers of Dance Central to fold up shop, the way Bizzarre Creations did after Blur?

When did I say you don't use your whole body?

What I said was that JD is a better game because its more fun to play.

However, that distinction is one the same with the differences between Mario Kart and Gran Turismo. One is clearly fun/arcade and one is serious/sim.

DC is trying to be more of a simulation and when playing in a party atmosphere it bogs down the fun when you are forced to take turns so many times with a scoring system that isn't as fun.

As I said before... people don't play dancing games on Wii with one arm. They move their whole body and people who do it better... do score better. Just like people who race better (rol) do phenominally better in Mario Kart.

I wouldn't call people acting silly in the background actually playing at the same time.. that's just reaching for anything... DC2 makes the best attempt to match JD on Wii as it adds a 2nd simultaneous player. Still, with a party.. JD is better as you can do four at a time.

They weren't "acting silly in the background", we were all in sync. I have video proof (which I'll never ever show to anyone except for those who participated in this event).

So me standing behind someone playing CoD going "pew pew" is the same as playing co-op?

The point of Dance Central is to dance following the on screen choreography, anyone who does that is playing the game no matter if he's tracked or not. That can't be compared to a game like CoD and you know it.
