The next Uncharted 3 review has arrived. Popular Dutch gaming magazine Power Unlimited is carrying a review of the title, and although the magazine’s not out until Wednesday, we’ve the first details and a sneak peak for you.
As you can see in the cover above, it’s carrying a review of Uncharted 3, however the score is unknown as of now, but after snooping around a bit, we stumbled upon this video which has the editor of the magazine unboxing the issue for you. This contains a brief glimpse of the review of Uncharted 3 which reveals that the magazine has awarded it with a Gold Award.
We’ve captured a image for you in case you might find it difficult to observe it in the video, as it’s a blink-you-miss-it affair.
The review’s pages also contain a quote which we’ve roughly translated for you. Any better translation would be much appreciated. Here’s it below:
“Killzone 3 isn’t, although we Dutch scretly hoped it’ll be. But it’s Uncharted 3 which is the hot crown jewel for the PS3 in 2011. According to us, the installment of Naughty Dog’s adventures of Nathan Drake is one of the best games of this generation and it managed to deliver.”
The above is just a rough translation but it appears the magazine has considered the game to be one of the very best this gen, and certainly crowned it as being the best PlayStation 3 exclusive to release in 2011. Even though they’re dutch, they didn’t award it to Killzone 3, admitting openly that they felt Uncharted 3 was the better game in their review.
Uncharted 3 is looking set to surpass its predecessor in terms of quality.
