hear that? it's the sound of obama clinching the election....
Fantastic, i can't stand her. I think if McCain had won the election this presidential-period would have been special because the US would have had three presidents. McCain would pass away or have to retire because old age and Palin would have quit after a year because that is what she is good at

Realistically, Obama's election chances are far more dependent on the state of the economy than who he is running against ...
If the economy gets any worse he will have difficulty getting re-elected regardless of who runs against them

I'm not American, so my perception is surely different, but the possible American woman president that scares me the most is Hillary Clinton!

......Bush must be saying: I fucked up the economy, started a pointless war, was incompetent a war criminal......and they still blame the Black Guy...............Awesome

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
This is good news, as a Brit I feared the US under someone like her.
Hmm, pie.

You know, Obama has screwed up the economy, started a pointless war, and is a criminal in doing so (went to war without congress approving it).. Bush has many faults, but so does Obama, and to deny that is insane.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Just as a question, if Bush was so bad and Obama is so good what has Obama continued to support most of Bush's policies?
Why has Obama's policies failed to turn things around, and/or had the same negative consequences associated with them that the critics of these policies predicted?

I'd argue that he wasn't given the chance to fully enact the policies he wanted due to record filibuster attempts by Republicans. Had he been given the chance, such as a stimulus package of less tax cuts and more infrastructure, I think it could have created more jobs (at least in the short term). But I'd agree that what he has passed hasn't had the effect he said it would.
